📄️ Getting started
As a Jadu designer or developer, you’re probably working on one or more of the Jadu platform products (CMS, XFP and CXM). Pulsar is already installed and available for you to use in your user-interface. There are, however, some important things to know.
📄️ Accessibility
The Pulsar Design System provides accessible components, layouts and recommended patterns which serve as a foundation for your application development.
📄️ Browser support
We automatically gather browser information from Continuum platform users to inform which browsers we design and test for.
📄️ Colour and state
Pulsar uses a standardised colour palette which incorporates the colours defined in Jadu’s brand styleguide.
📄️ Design tokens
Design tokens store static values for a variety of design attributes. Use them in place of hardcoded values to ensure consistency in your user interface.
📄️ Disabling elements
Disabling an element requires adding the appropriate attribute for the browser and any assistive device to recognise the element as being disabled, as well as a class to toggle the disabled styling of a given element.
📄️ Error messages
Error messages are a critical user interface component, they must explain to people that something unexpected has occurred and how to resolve it.
📄️ Helpers
Pulsar helpers are a quick way to include and configure components into your user interface, there are Twig and React variants available, depending on your UI environment.
